ABOUT
The Cleveland Park Streetscape and Drainage Improvement Project along Connecticut Avenue from Macomb Street NW to Quebec Street NW and each adjoining street and is located in Ward 3, Washington, D.C. This project is designed to improve drainage throughout the corridor and improve pedestrian safety and implement several green infrastructure improvements.
OUR OBJECTIVE
This DDOT project will address the local recurring flooding problem near the Cleveland Park Metro Station and will improve and implement the following:

Improve drainage along the project corridor

Modify drainage structures

Improve vehicular and pedestrian safety, access and visibility

Install necessary street furnishings, crosswalk striping

Improve streetscapes along the Connecticut Avenue corridor

Install native trees, permeable pavers and tree boxes
-
Install curb extensions, bicycle racks and trash cans
-
Upgrade curb ramps to meet ADA standards
